China GDP grows 5% in Q1, beats expectations on exports, spending strength
Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.42%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE), which rose 4.35% or 37.80 points to trade at 906.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Energix (TASE:ENRG) added 4.18% or 59.00 points to end at 1,469.00 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) was up 4.13% or 212.00 points to 5,347.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which fell 1.74% or 1,480.00 points to trade at 83,680.00 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) declined 1.55% or 99.00 points to end at 6,296.00 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was down 1.05% or 50.00 points to 4,707.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 287 to 183 and 69 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.90% or 0.70 to $78.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.79% or 0.65 to hit $83.27 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 10.65 to trade at $2,338.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.08% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS rose 0.19% to 3.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.00% at 105.16.
